I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and really enjoyed the narration as they seemed to fit the characters perfectly. They share a hot chemistry, witty banter and realize that being together makes them that much stronger to face the obstacles that life puts in their way. The last thing he needs is to get personally involved with an employee so why can’t he stay away? Patton and Raquel prove themselves to be soulmates both at work and at play.
He is also trying to be the support system for his two best friends and fellow marines when he is having difficult adjusting to civilian life as well. The one piece of advice that her sister dispensed was to not get personally involved with her boss, no problem right? Patton has recently taken over the family business and is trying to implement his plans for the company without the interference of his father. She is hired by Fletcher International which is exactly where she wants to be as it allows her to be close to Renee, her sister and best friend, who also works at the company. Raquel has recently graduated college and all set to begin the next phase of her life.
